In 2017 , Qatar have an open-policy for tourist and economic that will allow visa-free entry citizens of 80 countries ( now 81 countries). According to that, citizens of 81 countries can get visa on arrival to Qatar.

- Visa valid for 180 days from the date
- Maximum of stay: 90 days, not extendable

Requirements for obtaining a visa on arrival
- Passport must be valid for at least 6 months
- Have a confirmed return or onward ticket
- For Pakistani nationals: applicants must have cash equivalent of 5000 QAR, a confirmed hotel reservation, a certificate of vaccination against polio (if fly directy from Pakistan)

This type of visa is free in charge and no charge for extension.
